Crew Kosiorek and Cara Butcher headlined this weekend for the College of Charleston cross country team, with the men taking second and the women third at the Charlotte Invitational at McAlpine.
The College of Charleston cross country program will open the door for some familiar faces at next months CofC Classic at Trophy Lakes, as head coach Amy Seago announced the first annual Alumni Race.
Both College of Charleston cross country squads answered the bell to defend their home territory, with the men and women each claiming victory at the CofC Invitational.
The College of Charleston cross country teams will make their home debuts this weekend, as they are set to host the CofC Invitational at the Laurel Hills Plantation in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The College of Charleston officially kicked off the cross country season as the women won outright while the men took third at the Western Carolina Invitational on Saturday.
